Hello World!
This is the field node of DV4JD. Today's local weather is a bit fine after a weather disturbance this week, cloudy but with no rain.
I routinely use my field setup to test its functionality and the ability of the user (me) to use it efficiently in the field. For now, here is my setup:
Field Laptop: Evolve Maestro 3
HF Radio: Xiegu X6100/G90
Antenna: EFHW/Comet 40m mobile antenna/5m whip with WRCoil
Power Source: LFP-6AH/25AH(extended)
For now, I use this station mainly to do digital (FT8), and winlink. Hopefully in the coming days, I will manage to finish my super delayed project of a DIY interface for my VHF/UHF radio for VARA P2P and connect to other nodes. For the time being, I still do BBS but via TCP.
